    • Arrange your anaesthetics

    • Avoid consuming alcohol within 24hrs prior to treatment

    • Some medications may cause adverse effects. Please get in touch for further advice regarding any medications you are taking. Doctor approval may be required in some medical circumstances

    • If you are taking supplements known to thin the blood, such as fish oil, cease taking 1 week prior to treatment. If you are unsure please get in touch for further advice

    • If the area you would like treated has existing cosmetic tattoos, please get in touch and send clear photos prior to booking an appointment

    • If you are currently pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive please get in touch for further advice

    • FAMILY PLANNING: We’re unable to tattoo during pregnancy, please take the 4-12 week touch-up into consideration

    Please read the relevant “Pre & Aftercare” information located at the bottom of this page, for the service you are booked in for

  • 2 Weeks

    • Do Not tan (including fake tan) or have a sunburn on the treated area

    • DO NOT have any type of facial/peel

    • DO NOT have Botox/Dysport or Fillers – please wait 2 weeks after your appointment and let your injector know you have had your eyebrows tattooed

    • DO NOT have laser in the treatment area

    • Discontinue Retin-A & AHA Skincare Products on/around the treatment area 2 weeks before & after

    1 Week

    • Wax/Thread your brows. If this is an initial appointment please keep as much hair as possible or schedule an appointment with Alexandra Brows to have your waxing done to ensure too much has not been removed from your shape

    In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit

    • STRICTLY AVOID alcohol, fish oil, ibuprofen and aspirin 72hrs before your appointment

    • DO NOT consume caffeine (including all caffeinated energy drinks and food) on the day of your procedure

    • DO NOT exercise or sweat the day of or for 10 days after your appointment

    • DO NOT apply makeup on or around the treated area

    EXCESSIVE BLEEDING will result in poor healing and colour deposit

    If you take medications or have any medical conditions which may affect your treatment please divulge these prior to booking your appointment to avoid disappointment on the day.

    Feel free to wear your usual brow makeup to your appointment or bring along your favourite powder/pencil for colour reference.

    • Keloid Scarring (a raised scar) on any part of the body

    • Diabetes type 1 & 2 – can impact healing results and higher risk of infection

    • Chemotherapy Patients – please consult with your doctors first as medications can have an impact on pigment retention

    • If you are suffering a viral infection, cold or flu – please reschedule

    • Autoimmune Disease Sufferers – please consult with your doctor first

    • Heavy bleeders or those taking blood thinners

    • Organ Transplant Recipients

    • Skin irritations or Psoriasis near the treated area

    • Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Clients who are on a prescribed skin medication in the last 12 months

    • Cleanse brows gently before bed by dabbing with a wet cotton round/tissue with the cleanser supplied (size of grain of rice) and dab dry

    • Hydrate with an extremely thin layer of the aftercare balm provided 2-3 times a day (size of grain of rice)

    • KEEP DRY – if brows get wet in the shower, blot dry immediately with a clean tissue. Avoid heavy sweating, saunas, swimming, ect until the brows have finished healing and flaking (approximately 7-10 days).

    • Once you have finished peeling you may feel like you have lost a lot of colour, please be patient as the colour is still settling into the skin and can take a few weeks to come through.

    • DO NOT Pick or Pull at scabs/flakes, let the brows heel naturally. If brows feel itchy apply soft pressure but do not scratch

    • PROTECT your new brows by sleeping on your back. Do not wear makeup on or around the area during the healing process. Do not expose brows to direct sunlight while healing. After healing always cover with SPF as UV Rays can cause fading and or shift colour over time.

    • NO facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion or skin needling for 4 weeks post procedure

    • FOLLOW UP appointments are scheduled 6-8 weeks post initial appointment. This allows your new brows time to heal and settle. Touch Ups outside of this time frame may incur an additional fee
